The Princess Parrot (Polytelis alexandrae) is a strikingly beautiful bird endemic to the central deserts of Australia. These parrots are found in arid regions, often near water sources, where they feed primarily on seeds and fruits. Though their vibrant appearance makes them a favourite among aviculturists, in the wild the Princess Parrot is vulnerable due to habitat loss and limited distribution.
